Tycho Studio Collective was founded by Minette Kotze, an editor at heart and a creative director by instinct.

That instinct has shaped work that’s run on television, featured in a national (OOH) billboard campaign, passed 2.8 million views online, and, for multiple education organisations, become part of how children learn in classrooms across South Africa and Africa.

Why that matters to you: most video problems are created on shoot day and only discovered in the edit. Because Tycho is led by an editor, those problems are solved before the camera rolls. Shoot days run efficiently, edits run smoothly, and every video is built for the platform where it will live.

Retainer content is delivered within 2-4 weeks.
Project timelines are shaped by scope, from planning and filming through to post-production. If you have a launch date in mind, include it in your enquiry so we can confirm whether it fits our production calendar.

We handle the full production process in-house, from creative direction, scripting and filming to video editing, colour grading, sound design, motion graphics and photography. For larger productions, we bring in trusted specialist crew, so every project gets the right team without you having to manage multiple suppliers.

Our video production packages include two rounds of revisions. After the first draft, you send consolidated feedback and we deliver a refined second version for final tweaks before exporting the high-resolution master files. Additional revision rounds are available at our standard hourly editing rate.

Upon full and final payment, your company receives a non-exclusive licence to use the final edited video across your website, social media and marketing campaigns.

Tycho Studio Collective retains copyright of the work, as well as ownership of all camera footage, project files and custom assets, such as logo stings and animated graphics. Original footage and editable files aren’t included in standard packages but can be purchased as an add-on. Deliverables may not be resold, sub-licensed or altered using AI tools without our written consent.
